If you've always loved the idea of using book paper to craft but can't bear to cut up a book - don't worry - I've done it for you! All of the book paper I use in my workshops and craft kits is left over waste from my recycled notebooks. And I've done all the crafting preparation for you too. So there's less measuring and cutting, and just making!
I want you to enjoy a relaxing moment to craft. I offer a safe friendly space so you are more than welcome to attend alone or book with friends. My workshops are a moment for you to enjoy a little time without any cares or worries. And to go home with something beautifully handmade, by YOU!
My craft workshops in Essex are designed for people of all skill levels who love to get creative and make something beautiful from recycled books. In my hands-on classes, you’ll learn new skills on how to transform discarded books into stunning upcycled projects to decorate your home or gift to loved ones.
Each session is led by me, Becky Wash, a paper craft expert with nearly 20 years experience. From quilling, to floral sculptures; iris paper folding, and paper weaving, I will teach you a variety of techniques in my craft workshops in-person, at your home, or online!
Adult workshops are 2 hours long and prices start from £25 per person.
I currently run public craft workshops from my home at Retro from Scratch HQ (RM3 8HF), Merrymeade Tearooms in Brentwood, and at Love Local in Copford, near Colchester.
If you can't make the dates for my public workshops, but you have a group of friends and family that would like to take part, then you can come to me, or I can bring the workshop to you on your preferred date. I require a minimum of 4 people.
